What are the signs and symptoms of ADD/ADHD?
- Difficulty to manage time effectively
- Switching from one activity to another, or tending to not be able to switch to another activity – when deeply engaged
- Acts or speaks without stopping to think
- Interrupting others frequently
- Challenged when presented with a number of things to do… unable to recall the other things on the list, after engaging in the first activity
- Challenges in recalling what they’ve heard
- Inconsistent in work and behaviour
- Mood swings with anxiety, sadness, anger
- Impulse control difficulties, challenged to think things through… the consequences of actions are rarely considered
